Hannanna Stables: Upcoming Clinics with Carol Molony

Celtic Crest Inc. at Hannanna Stables in Ballston Spa, NY is excited to announce the first in a series of clinics designed for the Capital District Horse Community. 

We are honored to welcome Carol Molony, a USEF 'R' judge with over 40 years of experience, who will lead a 2-day clinic on September 19th and 20th at the farm. Due to limited availability, spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The first day will focus on flat work, while the second day will feature exercises over fences, including gymnastics and course work. Each day will cater to different skill levels, including sections for Green horses, Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced riders, both adults and children. 

Carol Molony is a well-respected USEF 'R' judge who has officiated at prestigious horse shows such as the Pennsylvania National, Lake Placid Horse Show, Washington International, New England Equitation Championships, and the USET Finals on both the east and west coasts. 

As a leading trainer in the area and the former owner of the esteemed Stony Creek Farm in North Salem, NY, Carol has a proven track record of guiding her riders and horses to qualify for elite events across the northeast, including the National Horse Show, Devon, and the Pennsylvania National Horse Show. 

In 1962, Carol achieved a remarkable feat by winning both the Maclay and the Medal Finals at Madison Square Garden on consecutive days, riding a borrowed horse she had only previously competed with in a hunter trial. 

Carol's contributions to the equestrian industry were recognized in 2010 when she was inducted into the National Show Hunter Hall of Fame. Beyond her roles in judging and teaching, she actively supports the industry through her involvement with the U.S. Equestrian Federation, the Professional Horsemen’s Association, and the U.S. Hunter Jumper Association, as well as participating in the intercollegiate program. 

Each clinic session will accommodate only 5 riders and last for 1 hour. The fee is $125 for each session per rider each day. Riders can choose to participate in flat work, over fences, or both.
